So now, we arrived at the beautiful Hero’s Square, one of the major squares in Budapest, noted for its iconic statue complex featuring the Seven chieftains of the Magyars and other important Hungarian national leaders, as well as the Memorial Stone of Heroes, often erroneously referred as the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

Continue on with a walk through City Park, pass Vajdahunyad Castle, and visit St. Stephen’s Basilica.
It is named in honour of Stephen, the first King of Hungary (c 975–1038), whose supposed right hand is housed in the reliquary.

At this part of the city you can also find some great restaurants and caffees, so you can take a break after the tour, and enjoy a delicious lunch or dinner! Your guide will also help you which are the best places!
