Our sightseeing starts in the downtown, we cross the oldest bridge the Széchenyi Chain Bridge, to visit the hilly Buda side. Firstly, we take a walk around the Castle District with the Royal Palace, the Gothic style Matthias Church and the Fisherman’s Bastion. Drive up to the Gellért Hill, with the Citadel on the top. Gllért Spa (open since 1918), getting through the Liberty Bridge.
We arrive to the Great Central Market Hall, with lots of Traditional Hungarian products of the Hungarian Gastronomy so a stop is required. National Museum, we show you the Jewish Quarter, with the Romantic style Synagogue. Next, we take the Andrássy Avenue pass by the fascinating State Opera House, Stop at the Heroes’ Square. After this, we take a walk in the City Park, by the Roman, Gothic, Renaissance-Baroque Vajdahunyad Castle, Széchenyi Spa, Zoo. St Stephen’s Basilica interior visit with the mumified Holy Right Hand of St.Stephen can be found. Next stop is Kossuth Square with the huge neoghotic style building of The Parliament appears. The tour finishes in the city center.

Following the line of the Danube heading North of Budapest, we explore what nature created during millions of years. Our first stop is Visegrád, where we visit the Royal Castle. Nothing else but its beauty and location proves the importance of this place. Every year the famous Knights’ Tournament takes place here.
We continue our ride towards Esztergom. This town is the center of Hungarian Christianity and the border of the country at the same time so it is providing enough to see and tell. It would be a mistake to miss the visit to the Basilika and the view that the cupola offers. We have our lunch here!
On our back journey we pass Visegrád again, looking at the scenic beauty of the citadell. Szentendre’s baroque town center is the final stop of our journey where after a quick brief on the historical background you can spend some free time shopping for souvenirs.

Lake Balaton the Holiday Destination and Herend
Visit lake Balaton, the largest fresh water lake in Europe, with us. Travel in a comfortable minivan to our first stop which is the Herend Porcelain manufacture, where the world-famous, hand-painted Herend Porcelain is produced in Herend.

We start with an interior visit with a local guide to get acquainted with the process of the production. Then you will have some free time for shopping and finally, you can have a memorable coffee break with original Herend porcelain cups.
After a short drive we arrive at the first Hungarian nature reservation area, the Tihany Peninsula, that lies deep inside the lake. At this point you will already know the reason why this is the 2nd most frequently visited part of Hungary, just after Budapest. We visit the 1000- year-old Benedictine Abbey and enjoy the panoramic view from the promenade.
On our way to the lunch place we pass folk art shops and hand-made arts and crafts products. You can also try the famous Tihany echo. We have our lunch under the shade of the grapes in a local „Csárda” (restaurant).
On our back journey to Budapest we stop at the first Spa and Holiday Resort of Hungary in Balatonfüred just by the Lake!
